One of the essential Undas reminders most Filipinos anticipate is the changes in public transportation schedules. Since it has been part of the Filipino culture to go to the provinces for long holidays like the Undas, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) constantly makes adjustments to cater to the unusually high volume of commuters going to provinces.

Here is the schedule for 2022 Undas for Metro Rail Transit (MRT) Lines 1 to 3, Manila Light Rail Transit (LRT) Lines 1 to 2, and Point-to-Point (P2P) buses.

Normal Operations for MRT and LRT Lines

During the lengthy “Undas” break, the Metro Rail Transit line 3 (MRT-3), Light Rail Transit line 2 (LRT-2), and Light Rail Transit line 1 (LRT-1) will all be in service, according to their operators.

The LRT-2’s management has announced that train trips will begin at 4:30 a.m. at both its Recto and Santolan stations.

The final trip at Recto Station will occur at 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m on the Santolan station.

Additionally, the Metro Rail Transit line 3 (MRT-3) stated that on November 1 and 2, all of its trains would operate normally.

The line management has announced that trips will begin at 5:30 a.m. on its Taft Avenue and North Avenue stations.

At 9:10 a.m., the last train leaving the North Avenue station will depart, whereas the final train from Taft Avenue departs at 9:50 p.m.

The LRT-1 line opens for service at 4:30 a.m. from November 1 till November 4 for both its south and northbound trains.

The last LRT-1 train to arrive at the Roosevelt station departs at 9:30 p.m., while the last train leaving Roosevelt departs at 9:45 p.m.

P2P Buses Schedule

P2P bus operators have yet to announce changes in their operations for the Undas holiday. However, it is expected that some operators may add additional trips to cater to the high volume of commuters going to their respective provinces. The operators themselves usually make last minutes announcements on their social media accounts.
