October 5, 2022

The Subdivision and Housing Developers Association Inc. (SHDA), in partnership with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), will welcome the month of October with a back-to-back convention and housing expo.

For the first time in three years, the National Developers Convention returns in person on October 5 to 6, 2022, at the Grand Hyatt Manila, BGC, Taguig City. The convention is followed by the 7th Housing Expo happening at the Megatrade Hall 1, Megamall B, Mandaluyong City, from October 7 to 9, 2022.

National Developers Convention Returns Face-to-face

The theme of the 30th National Developers Convention is “Change-proofing the Industry: Building Homes for Filipinos, Today and Tomorrow,” which aims to address solutions for the housing industry and urban development in line with the Marcos administration’s economic agenda. Moreover, the convention will also discuss the importance of digitalization in response to pandemic-related challenges and crises.

The current administration vowed to create inclusive and participative plans by involving private developers and financial institutions to accelerate housing production.

The two-day event will feature top government officials and key personalities in the housing industry to discuss macro trends and current issues and challenges, present new methods and products, and outline future directions for the industry.

Three-day Housing Expo

Meanwhile, the 7th Housing Expo is a three-day event made for home buyers and owners to broaden their horizon and learn more about the housing industry, be familiarized with different services and financial schemes for housing, and enjoy various promos and incentives from different exhibitors and seminars.

SHDA’s 7th Housing Expo will provide direct access to the current offerings of some of the country’s top housing developers such as 8990 Holdings, MyCitiHomes, Ayala Land, PHirst Park, Phinma Properties, PRO-FRIENDS, Raemulan Lands, Inc, SMDC, Convergence, Lynville, Forte Realty, ACM Homes, and PA Alvarez.

Since 2015, SHDA’s Housing Expo has connected developers and buyers in making the Filipino dream of owning a home a reality to help address the current housing backlog of the country.

With over 300 members nationwide and eight regional chapters, SHDA is the largest and leading industry association for housing and urban development in the Philippines. Members include some of the country’s top real estate players and a dynamic national network of small and medium developers.

May Rodriguez, president of SHDA, was recently hailed Personality of the Year at KB Realty Group’s The Outlook: Philippine Real Estate Awards last September 27, 2022.
